From a Salesforce brand to top-10 ServiceNow partner rankings
How launching ServiceNow service pages, then building a product cluster around them, turned a Salesforce-known brand into a ranking ServiceNow partner — seven steps from launch in January 2024 to the February 2026 handover, in US organic search.
A Salesforce-known brand launching a ServiceNow practice ranked for just 64 ServiceNow keywords in the US, with its consulting page buried at #16.
Launched the service pages, then built a 53-asset cluster around them — guides, comparisons, data posts and 22 case studies — one asset per buyer stage.
8× the keywords (64 → 526), #1 for “servicenow consultancy”, #5 for “servicenow consulting services”, and peak traffic value up from $269 to $11.2K.
A Salesforce brand that search engines didn’t connect with ServiceNow
Cyntexa had built its name in the Salesforce ecosystem. The ServiceNow practice started with the launch of three service pages: consulting, implementation and managed services. The pages gave the new practice a commercial home, but search engines had no reason yet to associate a Salesforce brand with ServiceNow, and established ServiceNow partners already owned the commercial results.
In January 2024, the domain ranked for only 64 ServiceNow keywords in the US, worth an estimated 36 visits a month. Most of that came from a single Salesforce vs ServiceNow comparison post. The consulting page was buried, sitting at #16 for “servicenow consulting services”, #35 for “servicenow consulting” and #47 for “servicenow consultant”.
ServiceNow buyers are enterprise IT, HR and operations leaders. They rarely begin by searching for a partner. They start by trying to understand a module, compare ServiceNow with tools they already run, or estimate what an implementation involves. The service pages on their own could not win that buyer.
Build the cluster around the service pages, not louder service pages
With the service pages live, the next step was to build a ServiceNow cluster around them. Rather than pushing the service pages harder, each new content type answered one stage of the buyer’s research and linked forward to the next, so authority and readers flowed toward the commercial pages.
The consulting page became the hub. It links out to the product guides and to the case studies, so a buyer landing on it can go deeper into any module, and the cluster passes relevance back to the page Cyntexa most needed to rank.
One asset type for each stage of the buyer’s research
| Stage | Buyer question | Asset | Role in the cluster |
|---|---|---|---|
| Learn | What does this module do and what does it cost? | Product guides for each ServiceNow product | Captures research demand and builds entity relevance for ServiceNow |
| Compare | How does ServiceNow stack up against what we use today? | Comparison and alternatives articles | Reaches buyers already evaluating a switch, often at high intent |
| Evaluate | Has this partner delivered this module for a business like ours? | Product case studies by industry | Proves delivery depth module by module |
| Decide | Who should implement and support it? | Consulting, implementation and managed services pages | Converts the authority built above into partner enquiries |

An eightfold keyword footprint, and a base that held
| Snapshot | Keywords ranked | Est. monthly traffic | Est. traffic value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jan 2024 (baseline) | 64 | 36 | $269 |
| Jul 2024 | 255 | 158 | $1.5K |
| Jan 2025 | 344 | 276 | $1.9K |
| Jun 2025 (peak) | 565 | 1.3K | $11.2K |
| Feb 2026 (handover) | 526 | 166 | $2.5K |
The June 2025 peak came largely from Cyntexa content appearing in a SERP feature for the head term “servicenow” (around 110K monthly searches), which alone accounted for an estimated 990 visits that month. Feature placements like this are volatile, and that visibility did not hold in July. The underlying keyword base did hold, staying above 520 through February 2026.

What the data points to next
The implementation and managed services pages had not reached the top 10 by early 2026. Two gaps stand out for the next phase.
Product-level service pages: case studies were already ranking for terms like “servicenow secops implementation” (#10), which shows demand for module-specific implementation pages such as ITSM, HRSD or SecOps implementation.
Stronger links from the cluster to the implementation and managed services pages, so they inherit the authority the consulting page already earned.
Why it worked
Service pages first
Every guide, comparison and case study had a clear commercial destination to link to.
Borrowed relevance
The product guides gave search engines a reason to treat a Salesforce brand as a credible ServiceNow source, which lifted the service pages that could not rank on their own.
One job per asset
Every asset had one job in the buyer journey, which kept the cluster organised and the internal linking plan simple.
Met at the switch
Ranking #1 for Remedy and BMC comparisons put Cyntexa in front of teams actively evaluating ServiceNow.
Proof by module
Case studies were mapped to modules, so a reader of the HRSD or SecOps guide had a direct route to proof for that exact product.
A hub page
The consulting page linked to guides and case studies, concentrating relevance on the most commercially important URL.
